The Pinnacle School (Pinnacle) is a private, state-approved special education day school for college-bound students in grades 2 through 12 who have been diagnosed with ASD, Non-Verbal Learning Disabilities (NVLD), Auditory Processing Disorders, and/or ADHD. Pinnacle is also available for any other student whose IEP can be implemented by the program. Our students are both privately and district-placed and come from all over Connecticut and Westchester County.
At Pinnacle, we focus on the “whole child” and create a learning environment where our students develop skills, gain independence and develop greater confidence and self esteem. We acknowledge our students’ gifts and challenges and address both in a warm, supportive environment. As a result, our students achieve more than they ever thought possible. By helping each student discover and build on their talents and abilities, they become resilient learners and active, engaged participants in the world around them.
